Our sod starts with a blend of 90% fescue and 10% Bluegrass seed.
There are three varieties of turf type fescue and two varieties of Kentucky Bluegrass, all of which are gold tag certified, meaning that it is free of weed seed and other grass seed.
The fescue is drought and shade tolerant and will adapt to a wide range of soil conditions.
The bluegrass will with stand traffic areas and spreads to fill in bare spots.
